Full Exterior Repaint — Neutral Bay

This 1960s weatherboard home in Neutral Bay had not been painted in over 20 years and was showing its age. The paint was peeling, the timber was weathered, and the home was in desperate need of attention to protect it from the coastal elements.

Our team began with a thorough inspection of all timberwork, identifying and replacing any rotted boards. The entire exterior was then pressure washed and sanded to create a sound surface for the new paint. We paid particular attention to the preparation, knowing that proper prep is the key to a long-lasting exterior finish.

The owners chose a classic colour scheme — a soft grey for the weatherboards with crisp white trim and a contrasting charcoal for the roof. This combination gives the home a fresh, contemporary look while remaining sympathetic to its mid-century origins.

We used Dulux Weathershield throughout for its excellent durability and 10-year warranty. The project was completed over 2 weeks, transforming the home from tired to terrific. The neighbours have been commenting on the dramatic improvement, and the owners couldn't be happier with the result.
