Our Story
From apprentice
to architects of colour.
Paintalo Group was founded in 2022 by Ivan, who mastered his craft in Italy before bringing elite European finishing standards to Sydney's competitive painting scene. From the very first job the brief was simple: treat every North Shore home like a gallery.
What began as a one-man operation in Lane Cove grew almost entirely through word of mouth — homeowners stunned by Ivan's attention to detail kept referring their neighbours. Within a couple of years he had hand-picked a small team of artisans who shared his obsession with preparation and finish.
Today Paintalo is one of the North Shore's most trusted young painting companies — a team of six specialist painters with a genuine 5.0 Google rating and a reputation for taking on the heritage, strata and detail-heavy projects other painters turn down.
